Winter Clothing Program
At Gitanmaax, we have listened to your concerns and are committed to making life easier for Gitanmaax parents. Understanding the challenges posed by the high cost of living, we are pleased to announce a $250 allowance for each child, available to all parents of Gitanmaax children, whether living on or off-reserve.
We are now accepting applications for the 2024 Children Winter Clothing Allowance. Eligible parents can receive $250 per child by completing the application form and meeting all requirements.
Eligibility:
Child must be registered with the Gitanmaax Band.
Child must be between newborn and 18 years old.
Open to both on-reserve and off-reserve members.
Application Steps:
Complete one form for the registered Gitanmaax children in your care. If you need more space, include an additional form.
Attach your banking information for direct deposit. If your banking details have changed, provide a void cheque.

Important Dates:
Applications received by October 31, 2024, will be processed and deposited daily starting the week of November 12, 2024.
Applications approved after October 31 will be paid weekly on Fridays.
The deadline for applications is November 30, 2024.
Note: Incomplete forms will cause delays and will not be approved. Ensure all information is provided and monitor your email for correspondence from Gitanmaax staff.
